We all go through peaks and valleys of feeling really busy, and a little bit less busy. Life consists of cycles. We work hard and then we rest (just like in yoga). At one point or another, we feel unbalanced and then we recharge and get grounded again. This picture was taken on my honeymoon. During the month before our wedding, there was so much to do, like most brides I was really busy finalizing all of the details. And almost magically, only a few days after, I remember standing here on the beach, feeling grounded and balanced once again.
If you are going through a busy time that makes you feel unbalanced or stressed, for example: work deadlines, final exams, wedding planning, newborn baby, training for a big event or show, or just changes (big or small) in your life, see if you can take a few minutes to breathe each day to help you get through it…and set up some time for yourself to really relax as soon as the big rush is over. Every busy time should be followed with a “honeymoon” in one form or another to rest and recharge. #namaste
